PAGADEBIT Dl ROMAGNA DOC
This is a very exciting Italian wine made from not less than 85% Bombino Bianco grapes in the area around Forli and Ravenna. The pale golden colour is hardly striking but in contrast the nose is a strong feature of this wine and is reminiscent of may blossom. It is soft, subtle, and very seductive.
The wine can be dry to slightly sweet but either type is well-balanced by the fine acidity. The taste is refined and extremely pleasant with clear vegetal undertones. There is also a Frizzante version. Drinking temperature for this Italian wine is 42.8-46.4°F(6-8°C) for the slightly sweet and 46.4- 50.0°F (8-10°C) for the dry wines.
